Great new R&B Artist

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to share a great new R&B artist that I am obsessed with lately, if you like this style of music and need something new and refreshing I would definitely recommend The Weeknd. He released three free mixtapes and will hope fully go on tour soon. You can get his music from his site here. Let me know what you think of him?

Finally, I was beginning to think I was weird since nobody was responding. I can not wait till he goes on tour, hopefully he will be in my area....I have to listen to wicked games and D.D at least once a day lol....

Have you listened to all three albums?

I agree with what someone said on a youtube video: Listening to his music makes me feel like I'm on another planet. He reminds me of Adele, in the sense that, they both fit in specific genres but their final product is unlike anyone else's and cannot be duplicated. Good stuff.

I completely agree, to classify him as R&B is not enough, he is almost on another level of such music. I have all his three albums and usually just play them on random along with some Frank Ocean, another new artist that I love. One of my favorite quotes about his music is Frontier Psychiatrist's L.V. Lopez when he said the album was "brilliant, disturbing, and not safe for work," calling the song "Loft Music" a song that is "so unsafe it should come with a child-proof cap, so dirty that you’ll feel guilty the next time you see your wife."

The funny thing was I was listening to it at work all day today...lol
