Hey all!
I've been wondering:

My chin has a beechwood granulate bedding used in birdcages and terrariums.
It's dry, dust free and has a addictive smell ( I love wood :D)

Is this ok for a chin? She's 6 years and never had an other bedding.

thx in advance!
ChinSteve

Beech is on the safe woods list for chins, so I would say yes, it's safe. It's also safe for rabbits, and you pretty much use the same type of bedding for rabbits as you would for chins.

For future reference, here's a list of chin safe woods:

Just in case you need to buy some for your chins chewing pleasure. :)
