I liked this movie. Clint Eastwood was hilarious in it, but maybe he wasn't supposed to be? He was just a very annoyed old man the whole time. It had a fairly good story, in a strange way it was a very sweet story. Overall I give it a B. It kept my interest, which is very rare nowadays when I am usually doing something else besides watching a movie.

It doesn't have a whole lot to do with cars. I wouldn't have minded if it did have more to do with Gran Torinos...but that's just me, we love old Fords around here.

I don't know if I can say too much about the plot without giving much away. It was a little predictable in what happens...but not in a horrible way.

This movie was incredible. You laughed, you got mad, you cried. It's amazing to me that a guy his age can STILL carry an entire movie on his shoulders alone. It was just incredible. The whole theater would just roar with laughter.

This one is a keeper! :)

Paul just rented this, and laughed a lot too! It it thought provoking. I think the laugh, get mad, cry statement sums it up the best. Clint did a wonderful job!!!

One thing, I thought his children and grandchildren were just awful to him. It was funny how he really didn't care all that much about communicating with them. We all should think about how we treat our parents and grandparents because one day they won't be there. I am going to try my best to make an effort to not be like that with my mother, she's really all I have left since my father and grandparents have all passed away. (I know, I take away strange ideas from movies...shouldn't take it all that seriously, right?)

I rented this from Redbox last night. Didnt want to read this thread until I saw it.
Me & my fiance' loved it! I thought it was great & funny & heartwarming. Loved the plot, acting, etc...
I loved how Clint would actually growl........
Now I am a pretty young 40 year old, BUT if my children ever disrespected my parents the way they did in this movie I would have b***h slapped them. And their parents were no better and obviously set the example. I WISH my grandparents were still alive today so that I could call them up or visit them and hug them. Great flick!

We watched it yesterday. Great Movie! Sad ending though. Humorous too. I didn't know a Gran Torino was a type of car. Now I do..lol.
