I am going to a car show/race this weekend and was asked to take some pictures for their website. I usually use my rechargables but since I won't have anywhere to recharge them, I need some good batteries that will last awhile. Usually the standard batteries seriously die after taking about 25 pictures. Anyone have any suggestions on good, reliable batteries?

I agree with Michelle. Those batteries are pricey but well worth the money. Also, bring a second set along so if your batteries die you can just replace them immediately. I always have a spare set of batteries in my camera bag. When I first got my camera I used rechargeable batteries, too. They just don't have and hold the power you need for a digital camera.

Thanks you two! I picked some up this morning. Unfortunately they only had 1 pack left and it only had 2 batteries, so I'll use them and bring a bunch of charged rechargables along just in case. I really didn't feel like dealing with Indy traffic to go to another place to buy them! *grumbles about I-465 & it's darn construction*

Yes, Energizers. I always carry some as spares when I am out and about, and cannot recharge.
