Getting used to wearing glasses?

I have had glasses for a while now, but have not worn them for over a year and a half. They are for distance, but my prescription is not that high. I found I can drive without them and read road signs and things fine.

I dug them out this week. During my college classes last week the board was blurry. It was hard to read. I used my glasses for the first time tonight for a full three hour class. Now my head hurts

I was just wondering how to get used to wearing them again? I really only need them for class.

It shouldn't take more than a couple of days of constant wearing. It happens to me when I get a new RX after several years. This year, I'm getting new glasses, so it'll take me a few days to adjust, too.

Hang in there and KEEP wearing them!!!

How long has it been since your last eye exam? I always get headaches when my glasses need a new rx. It can take a day or 2 to get used to wearing glasses. I have to wear mine for everything short of reading.
