Alright so I let Kingston out for about 45 minutes of playtime in my room, when he returned to his cage I shut the cage doors and laid down for bed. I noticed he was laying really squeezed tightly in between his house and his shelf.
I thought that was strange, but I tried to ignore it, then he squeezed himself in between his house and the bars of his cage, and then he laid flat on his side on his marble tiles.
When he laid down it concerned me bc he rarely lays down, so I turn on my lights and his ears are just as red as can be!!! I have a digital thermometer by his cage and it read 65, and its not humid here.
I opened my window (its about 61* outside) and he's up and about again running in his cage.
Did he get too hot from playtime? I'm not sure how much he got at his old home, should I just do shorter playtimes until he gets "in shape"?
:/ I'm not sure what to do, could he just be really tired?
