I loved Elvis the first time I saw him as a young girl of 7. Forty years later I still love him. I think he is the most handsome man I have ever seen in my life and no one really comes close. I don't believe in terms of fat Elvis or skinny Elvis--my love for him is unconditional. I am sorry he lived the live he did mainly because of the fans that hounded him.
My dream of meeting him or seeing him in person died nearly 33 years ago on August 16, 1977. I have had no such dream since. It really truly was the only thing I ever really wanted.
I hope Lisa is telling him good things about me--someday I will see him and some days that hope keeps me going.
