Food at the NY/NE show

So what are my dearest friends bringing for goodies this weekend. I am making homemade cinnamon rolls with a cream cheese glaze. They are sooo yummy!!

I am making a Carrot cake and Peanut butter bars. We might have to test the Cinnamon rolls on the way down..lol!

probably!! Then we will have to stop somewhere so I can run to the bathroom. They are oooohhh sooo good but oh soo rich.

I am making fried apple cupcakes with spiced apple frosting. Every time I go to this show, I stop in at the orchard just down the road so this show always makes me think of fall apples in New York.

I will make minis for us, Jess.

Sorry guys. I've decided I won't be going to this show. Our double A baseball team won last Sundays western divisioinal series in the play offs.
Now they are playing against the eastern league champions for the title. Last night they won 10-9 in the bottom of the 9th to win game one!!! :clap1: They play again tonight in New Hamphire and then come home Friday. It's a best of three series. Hope they win tonight! If they win tonight and Fridays home game there will be champagne again!! Whooo hooo......

Our team is only two years old :dance3: I'm including a photo of last weeks win. My husband, my daughter and I are all in it. I have the big red finger on my hand. I'm in the upper right with a dark pink tank shirt on.

Good luck on the show table everyone. Hate to miss this one. But I've got to cheer on the boys.

Right outside of Port Ewen is the apple bin, and they sell warm apple cider donuts...toooo good

That's the orchard I go to! They have a lot of nice goodies in their shop, and their apples are fantastic. *love* The whole event of this weekend gives me a warm fuzzy fall feeling.

By the by Rob, how is the flooding in the Hudson river valley now?

Everything including Kingston and south (port ewen, new paltz etc etc) is perfect. North to the Catskills is screwed, margaretteville and other places were wiped off the map.

I assume godin in the first place will just take the thruway to kingston then the 5 minutes drive to port ewen.

Mish give me a text, I have my rugby game tomorrow, and I think we are leaving at 9am and not returning until 5, i would really like to meet some of you if possible.

What time does the show start? I don't have to leave until 9:30 so I might try to make an appearance.

Really happy to hear there is an orchard nearby - my hubby has been wanting to go to one this fall.

I will be bringing a simple (but very yummy) cheesecake. I wanted to bring homemade Kit Kat Bars (oh my god amazing) but they are pretty intense to make and I didn't have time this week.

almost done with my cinnamon rolls. Last batch is in the oven. It's going to be hard to pry little fingers off of them tomorrow. The kiddos have already been eyeing them.
