Floppy Ear

Hi okay so i've heard of the whole sleepy ears thing. but when i first got my little boy Momo one of his ears was a bit floppy, and then like a couple days later it went away and i havnt seen it since, and now suddenly the same ear is being floppy agian. >.< its weird, is it from sleepyness or what?
heres a pic of when we first got him.
also i was wondering if anyone knows why chins get freckles on their ears? is it just a trait of beige chins or is it age?

The freckles are a beige thing. It can happen on tans, beiges, PW's. Some beiges never get a freckle, others get them really early, and some get them later in life.

His ear is fine. He may have gotten beat on a little bit when he was younger, causing it to become weaker, or he could just have a lazy ear.

he's had it for a couple days... its so weird his ear hasnt been floppy for like a year lmao. chinchillas are so random.
