it is missing the middle pan and shelf the pan sits on. Does anyone have their cage set up without the second level shelf?
I still want to try to find a replacement because I plan on adding a second chin in the future. so hoping Midwest will sell the wire shelf separately and it is not too much $.

Found this cage for $100 on CL in great shape, just missing the middle shelf. Now gotta order the bass pan and set it up:thumbsup:

i'd just add lots of wood shelves and stretch a large hammock across where the middle floor would go - to catch falling chins if they should slip.

We have set up several open double cages and they work out great. Especially on our triple stacked cages where the lowest level tends to get the least amount of attention.

If you're nervous about having an open double cage, I have an extra divider you're welcome to.

That would be awesome! Sending you a PM

Congrats Crystal!!! Delilah is a LUCKY Lady!!!! Can't wait to see pics of the set up, and that cutie pie of yours!

Thanks Brittany! I still have to get an order into you for more fleece stuff and toys! Especially now that I have this gigantic cage to fill!
I was not prepared for the size of this, it is quite large! lol

Congratulations on your great deal! The bass pans are totally worth it, too. I still cry to think about the $77 bill, but then I see my floor and it's so clean!
