Finally back on nights!

Some of you may have wondered where the heck I've been--LOL! After working a month of 1st shift tonight I get to go back to 3rd shift--YES! I am SO thrilled! The morning commute was driving me nuts! 45 minutes to an hour to get from Racine to Kenosha which is 16 flipping miles was just ridiculous! An hour to drive 16 miles! CRAZY!
I did enjoy working days, I met people face to face I've only talked to for 2 years, so that was nice to place a face with a name.
AND even though they really loved me on days, the nicest compliment was knowing they valued my training expertise and have me back on 3rd to train our new operator, Nancy.
In November I move to swing shift which is the 3 13 hour days I worked 2 months ago, a shift I really loved! So here I am with time on my hands again, YES!

I'm glad you got the shift you wanted. Night shift is awesome. I am now on 4 ten hour nights and loving it.

I work night shift to and love it, I am not a morning person, lol!! If i worked days i would always be late!! Congrats though!

I've always worked days and evening shift until recently. Lately i've been doing alot of 3rd shift and I'm not sure if I like it or not. I get soooo tired by 3am. everyone keeps saying that I'll get used to it, but I don't know. I think I'm going back to evenings. Not too early and not too late. But, I really like the crew that works nights. Plus none of the big wigs are here to ride your butt! So that part I really like.
