How many chins can be housed in a full ferret nation?

I have 3 in a single level FN (momma and 2 kits) so an extra level would be plenty of room for 4. )

What do you mean by full? A 142 or a 143?

I have the 5 Lovely Ladies in a FN right now and they all seem to have more than enough space. I wound't put any more than that though, and I would keep the middle floor with the cut out in. With that many chins you don't want one to accidently nudge another off a shelf on the top, etc.

You would need chins that get along very, very well though to pull off that many. These ladies sleep in a mound every time they close their eyes, and are always together, so I felt comfortable putting them in the FN 142.

Really? I wouldn't go past 2. One chin per level still kinda' sounds like a lot to me. :wacko:

I use FN cages i have 3 in a single cage and 1 at the moment in the full cage... and my other 2 are in smaller cages...1 being in a baby proof cage (expectant mom)...everyone seems happy with this arrangement

OMG...9 is insane. I've got one in each level right now and they poop soooo much lol. I'd feel the need to clean like every 4 hours with that many chins:hair:
