My chin was running around in the bathroom and i failed to notice there was water in the sink with dawn soap in it. She jumped in. Only her belly got wet, I am towl drying her.
What should I do??

Make sure she's rinsed well so that there is no soap left over to cause drying of the skin or itching. Then use a blow drier on low/cool and make sure the fur gets thoroughly dried down to the skin.

Not unless she's completely dry or you'll turn her into a crusty mess.

Next time, check the sink for water, close the toilet lid, and check the bathtub before you take the chinchilla in there to play.

this happened once to kishi, except she jumped out of her cage into a bucket, she scared the life out of me and she was completely drenched, i t took me nearly an hour to get her dry again, she kept wanting to roll on the carpet.
