AZChins
Pro Cage Cleaner Champion
Today I picked up the phone as it was ringing. The person calling promptly slammed it down. I ran to check the caller ID to see who it was. Well, it appeared that it was a customer of mine. So, I called her back and left a message asking why she was calling and hanging up. I thought it was a good message, not too mean but just asking why that happened.
After a few minutes I wondered why that customer would call. So I started thinking about it and I drew a blank (which is easy for me after about 6 pm since my brain can no longer tackle anything more complex than talking to and feeding chins.)
So, I went to call my customer again. I don't know why...seriously, I don't know why I do things sometimes. I looked at the caller ID again and realized that my customer called me on the 6th, not today. I was looking at the FIRST entry on the caller ID and not the last.
Ugggggg...
I called her so I could leave another message, but she picked up. Oh no. I ended up having to explain to a very confused woman that I cannot effectively use caller ID and that I wanted her to disregard my message.
I'm not good at technology. I know what I know, and that's pushing it. I haven't had caller ID that long.
I will spare you how I cannot fathom how call waiting works and how I do strange things like hang up on people or end up calling people that weren't calling me while using it. All of it boggles my mind. And, we're talking about technology that has existed for 20 years or more...and I still don't get it.
Don't even expect me to know how to use an iPod or whatever little gadgets people have and commonly use.
