What a lovely Tuesday morning. The air nice and crisp--not a worry in the world, is what I'm thinking to myself as I drive home from work in the early morning hours. When I get home I'm in zombie mode, stripping off clothes, snuggling into my nice hearts and flowers pajamas. I put my satin heart eye mask on and snuggle into the covers for a nice long sleep. But no--no, not I! At five hours of sleep I wake to the sound caterwauling! Long, mournful calls and then suddenly fierce fighting! Right in the very bed I'm sleeping in. I jerk awake to see Sam and Baxter going at it like the flipping WWE right on my bed!

The culprits--
Baxter:

Sam:

These two boys are brothers who pretty much look identical. Sam is the lover--constantly on me every chance he gets whenever I'm sitting in the recliner. Baxter sleeps on my head on my pillow--but then again I guess sleep is the operative word here!
Just when I thought I was going to get a nice solid at least 6 hours of sleep no such luck!

To quote Disney sort of: Those Darn Cats!

I feel your pain! I have been very sick- need all the rest I can get.
Did I get to sleep last night and this morning? NO. The dog had me up 3 times to go out. Was finally snuggling back in and almost out and hear all this thumping coming from the chinnie cage. At first I did not think much of it, but then I heard grunting sounds. Go in there and sure enough, the boys are fighting. I rigged a temporary separation and strung up a spare water bottle. They seem fine, I think it was all barking and chasing.
I am still exhausted.

They look innocent enough in pics don't they? Thank heaven my guys don't do the WW Smackdown! Actually the girls go at it more than the boys, theres alot of "B***h Slappin" that goes on!

"MEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW" "HHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEE" "MEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW" "HHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEE"

Sorry, best imitation I could make of my 3 kitties going at it - you know...all the meowing and hissing - course, I left out all the running into things and knocking stuff off of furniture noises I hear throughout the night. It's very comical until it's 3 am and you're supposed to be sound asleep when one of the kitties decides to use you as a jumping board and jumps in the middle of your stomach and then takes off after another kitty! Yeah....no fun. I feel your pain.

Haha they're so cute though!

I didn't get much sleep last night either. My calf muscle kept twitching. And still now it's twitching, it's really annoying.
