I briefly looked and couldn't find where this may already be posted - if it already has, please forgive me as my eyes can't focus well at midnight! :)

I was wondering what medical supplies I should have on hand. I only have one chin and don't have anything and thought that I should be smart and have supplies on hand in case of emergency. What is the difference between Lifeline and Critical Care? Do I need both or one or the other? What else would be a good idea to have in case I can't get to my vet in short order? Thanks so much!

Critical Care is up there, along with a feeding syringe. Life Line is a good supplement to it, but it should not replace CC. CC is pretty much a mush diet for chins while Life Line provides some good benefits for sick chins. I like to mix the two together when I am hand feeding. Life Line isn't a must, but many of us belief it works wonders. I will always have it on hand.

Other things I like to have on hand is:
Simethicone for bloat/gas
Blu-kote for injuries
Pet pecillin or Kaolin pectin- for diarrhea

Those are the basics I think, unless I forgot something. I have a mini pharmacy/hospital in my first aid kit..I've collected a lot over the years

Who on here sells Critical Care? I know I read a post where someone did but can't remember.

Thank you Stackie for the list of emergency items!

Thank you Cuddlebug for directing me to the correct site to find more info.

I think it is good for me and for other newbies to keep in mind what emergency items to have on hand...
