Mr. Edgard wanted OUT tonight. He didn't want out to run, he wanted out into the pouch to be carried around a scratched. Right now he's in the pouch and he doesn't want to go back.

Tonight I weighed him because I was curious. He is now 820 grams, I never considered him to be a large chin but he really is. He's about a year and a half old. He's sweet as can be. Very calm and he LOVES LOVES LOVES to be scratched and held. I spend a lot of time with my chins, especially those that were born here because they get held constantly as little ones. I took some pictures, but they're in the pouch pictures, so he's all messy and not posed nicely for pictures.

Edgard's mom is about 950ish, she's descended from chins from Colorado and the intermountain area (did I get that right.) His Dad was a color class champ. So, Edgard is awesome even though it took him 10 months to grow out of looking quite ratty. :D He's a pretty boy now...maybe sometime in the future I will put him with a girl, but breeding chins hasn't been a huge priority these last few years so who even knows.

Anway...I love him, he's my baby. He'll never be allowed to go anywhere cuz he's mine.

So, that's my Edgard. Yes, I named him that because I made up a name one day and he seemed to really like it. :D

The other pouch has three little babies that are about a month old. They're not moving much because I think they went to sleep...they probably need to go back to their mamas soon.

I need to get real pictures of him because he really is a very nice chin. I need to dust him and prop him up with a treat in some natural light. He's just a darling little boy... Honestly, he's gorgeous, but I don't care, I love HIM...his sweet disposition would make even the rattiest chin my favorite!

He's beautiful. I need a black chinnie now... give him to me. =)

Another pouch picture...

This is Beagle...he's the chin that conned me into holding him for an hour and then HAD to go in the pouch to ride along for evening chores along with a pouch with three babies, a pouch with Thor and Inna and a pouch with Mr. Lenny. :D I have about 10 lbs of chins dangling off my neck and shoulders...well, I handed off two pouches to John while I am back at the computer for a bit...

He looks so deflated! I love the ears all pulled back and his fuzz all smashed down. This is normally quite a beautiful boy! hehehe He's chewing on little twigs in the pouch right now....I have the pouch resting on my lap and he's poking his head out and hasn't tried to get away. :) Then again, he's been riding in the pouch since he was teensy tiny so he knows it's a fun place for him to stay. ;)

You asked for it!

There ya go... Lenny was sticking out of his pouch to see what I was doing. The babies were very wiggly...everyone else was good. :)

Nevermind what I am wearing, too...I have dust all over me! Black is not a good color to wear when playing with chins and it's cold in here at around 64 degrees...so I have on my lonnnng sweatshirt with sweatpants underneath. :D That's what I look like most of the winter since we don't have to turn on the heat in the chin rooms!

That is sooo cute! You are gonna get strangled if 2 chins decide to fight. You'll be dead on the floor, the chins long gone and they'll say you were murdered. :hilarious: You need nice neck straps like that one has.
