Obviously chins chew the heck out of woods. (and anything else they can) But i was wondering about the effects of eating them. (safe woods)
Reason I'm wondering is because i have some left over woods from making their huts long ago. The other day i cut some up into smaller pieces. About the size of a finger. And gave each of my chins one. Something to chew on and play with.
I gave it to them fairly late at night. When i woke up the next morning and looked in their cage i saw these little ... flakes.. of wood. (solid pieces) I thought they were just an over sized hard piece that you occasionally find in the aspen litter. But then i realized it was the wood pieces i gave them the night before. They chewed/ate the heck outa them to the point i didn't reckonise them lol.
So i was thinking maybe they actually ate some of it? And was wondering it it could be harmful that way. (i haven't given them any More since then)
