My 11 month old German Shepard has now started to eat Ozzy's poop. Does anyone elses dog eat your chinnys poop?

I clean under and around his cage daily but there is no stopping the poop machine.

both my dogs think chinchilla pellets (both the kind that go in and the kind that go out of a chinchilla) is a treat. There is no stopping them from eating it since they find it on the floor before I do

That makes me feel better lol. I figured it wouldn't hurt Kodak as everything Ozzy eats is natural. But i just wanted to see if my pup was the only one or if others enjoyed it too haha:rofl:

One of my dogs must think chinny poop is caviar or something. He eats all the poops off the floor and you should see him jump up to run over to the cage if he hears one falling out. So crazy!

I think my other dog only doesn't eat them because she is a better listener when I tell them no.

I have two dogs, and my doberman, who always seems to be hungry, will settle for cleaning around my chinnie pen if I don't get to it soon enough. He is the same dog that has eaten my cat's poop, too, so I had to make the litter box impossible for him to get to. Do I let this dog near my face? NO! Too gross, lol!

both my dogs eat it,, i try to sweep it all up, but its just impossible.. they are pooping machines...

My dogs love eating it as well, but rarely have a to chance because they are not usually allowed in the chin room. They also love horse poop too, I have no idea why!

chin poop and other animals poop can be high in nutrients...I have 2 cats so we had to super proof chin chins cage which meant extra netting, but the poop will make its way though so far we haven't seen them eat the poops that make there way out....but ya just can never know.........some animals poop is high in nutrients so that is why they will recycle it........
