I was wondering what I should get for my little girl to bathe in. I've seen those little houses that places like petsmart sell but I've also seen where some people just use bowls.

I use the plastic bath house. I used to let her dust in a bowl but she makes a huge mess. There would be dust all over the place and a chin rolling on the floor trying to get to it. So I got her a house and it keeps most of the dust in. I also think she enjoys her house more.

I have 5 of these candy jars from Wal-Mart. They are the 1 gallon size, perfect for the chins to fit in and the dust stays inside. I recently picked up 2 more of these jars and they are roughly $7 each.

Ok thanks for the help. I'll probaly try one of those little jars. And see how well she likes it. Thanks a lot!!

I use a small kitty litter box so he can stretch out and roll. He doesn't seem to like going into a hole in a bath house or jar, though I wish he would, he makes a mess :p

Do you think a chin who is used to a low open container for dusting in would take to a jar? I find Kiwi makes a huge mess, and I would like to keep the dust in.

I've changed from open containers to the standard plastic dust bathhouse, and my chin always adapted to any container the dust was in.

i use both some of my chins will not use the bath house and others will not use the pan, just depends on the chin but the houses are definitely less of a mess to deal with it keeps everything more contained.

I use 1 gallon 'pickle' jars, for about $7, and you get to eat the pickles!
Never had a problem with a chin using it, either.

Wow pickle jars, never thought about that. That seems like a good route to go. Thanks

I do the candy jars and fish bowls. I like using glass because I can sanitize it and I like to be able to see the chins while they are rolling in their dust!
