Alright, so since being moved to his new cage, Kingston has been drinking significantly less water. He did get a new water bottle, but he knows how to use it because I've seen him drinking from it. I checked to see if it is working and its working fine. He's peeing, eating, and pooping just fine, but it seems the water in his bottle never goes down, and if it does it's a tiny bit. Usually Kingston drinks a lot.

Kurtis has also been drinking very little water, but I figured that's because he's new. I've seen him use the bottle and the bottle works fine too, and he's peeing.

So both chins have normal poops, are eating plenty, and are active, so why aren't they drinking very much? Should I put some apple juice in their water?

Maybe the old water bottle leaked more, so it just looks that way? I would put in the old bottle or the same brand just in case, but it seems like they are fine. I would not do juice yet.

How new is he? I have heard some chins will not drink water if it tastes different then where they came from. I have boughten chins from Orlando and when I get them home, they almost always hate my water, so much that now I know and I have to get a jug of their water from the breeder and then switch the water gradually to purified that I use. They can be that picky! Crazy.

I think he will be fine. If you see him drinking chances are he is drinking. Chantel on the funny side to that since I moved to my husband's house they drink more water I guess they like the taste. I don't but they love it.

If he is drinking and poops look normal I wouldn't worry

I put Kingston's old bottle in, he hasn't shown much interest yet but we'll see.

I've had Kurtis for a week, hopefully he'll adjust :/
