Would drift wood be ok for chins to chew and play on? Like the kind you put in a reptile or fish tank
 
Personally I wouldn't use driftwood only because true driftwood has been in the water so long and then dried out. I can't imagine there's much taste there for a chin. And there's no way to know for sure what type of wood it is, some woods can be toxic. Sometimes you can find larger pieces of grapevine though in the bird section and those would work fine too.

That's just my opinion.
