does your chin sleep through anything?

So I was cleaning my bedroom where the chins are yesterday, making a ruckus, dropping things moving furniture around etc.

And here is Buffy, laying down in her fleece tube practically snoring through it all!

And I thought chins were super jumpy with loud noises. Well not mine!

Sometimes i can vacuum right next to the cage and mine just slightly open their eyes then go back to sleep lol i guess it all depends on what noises they are use to. : )

It depends on the time of day. If I'm cleaning mid-day, the girls could care less. If I start early morning or late at night, they are at the bars begging for treats.

My chinnies sleep through just about everything ...but if i go anywhere near the cage or try and take a picture, they soon run and hide haha the little monsters

I agree that it may be what they are used to. Trixie can sleep through the vacumn, television and a thunderstorm. BUT, the minute company comes, and there is a different voice in the house, she is right up and out, checking out the interloper in her domain.

My house is pretty chaotic and noisy with two boys and two dogs that get quite rowdy. I think chins, like other animals, get used to the environment they live in. My chin isn't bothered by all the noise in the house at all. She is actually a lot braver than my doberman! lol

It depends, some do, some don't. I've had chins completely zonked out asleep when I'm shop-vaccing in their cage... they don't even move lol.

some lucky ppl lol. My chins will panic at any and everything. Doesn't matter if their used to it or not. (mainly my 3 girls, my boys are a lot more docile). Their are times they will litteraly run around in a panic from me taking a deap breath in the other room.

I think chins get used to things. The first time I vacuumed near their cage, my chins freaked out.

Today I was deep vacuuming the entire first floor and they barely even reacted.

If they are sleeping, they will barely react to sounds inside the house. A single sound from the outside, though and they are up and alert.
