Look at her pointy nose :D She's cute but she just looks very funny to me :]

Must be a costina? Costinas have pointier noses than the lanigera chins....(most common, i believe), then there are Brevicadata chinchillas which are a lot more blockier.

Chinchilla Lanigera are like a mix between costinas and brevicadatas....Not a very point nose etc.

I know this post is all over the place. G'Night, lol.

ETA: Looking at that last pic look how long their arms actually are! Woaw.

I agree with Mae. Looks like a costina type chinchilla, and a very sad, in need of a dust bath, one at that. Poor things.

I hope the difference in eye size is more related to age and body size - I've never seen that much of a difference before!
Does the ad say if they're related?

She is very cute, they all are. I love the rattie face chins with pointy noses. Gordon had a pointy nose and I think GiGi looks very much like him with her pointy nose as well.

The standard is the mom of the two beige females. One baby is older than the other

They are all so cute! I don't usually go for the rat nosed chins, (I like my chins plump HAHA), and I agree they need dust baths bad, but how cute!

The last time I went to my local exotics store they had a chinnie like that one. I also prefer the shorter, stubbier nose chinnies, but that's just me. It doesn't make them any less cute, I just have my preferences. :p

Her freckles are adorable though.

They eye size difference- I noticed with my 33 rescues that were inbred and all came from 4 chins...they look like that. Some have HUGE eyes, some have itty bitty tiny eyes, and they actually have more pronounced flatter brevi type faces. I can't be positive it is the inbreeding or the lines, but most likely the inbreeding.

My chin Minnie has a much pointier nose and longer ears (she looks almost rabbit like!). I think I looked up that she would be a chin with more costina-type features. It takes a little bit to get used to it, especially if you other chins look more like "normal" chins.

Still a cutie, though!

Interesting to see the two together like that. I like the blocky flat faced ones myself but one of my adoptees is very rat-faced. Of course, when you get to know them, they are all lovable!

I have one of each. The ratty one is the one that guests and such get to touch and hold when he feels like it b/c he's the braver of the two. Nobody outside the chinchilla community really notices a difference, but that's how I tell them apart if I can't stick my hand in the cage for the personality test.
