I've seen a lot of great ideas on how to make toys ledges and fleece items yourself. With the economy the way it is it's a bit cheaper to make the attempt to do it yourself and save on labor/shipping. If we could have those threads compiled in their own section it would certainly be convenient when those of us who want to make the attempt are looking for specific instructions.

Just an idea =)

Here's an idea;
Save / Go buy the little wooden popsicle sticks and clean them really well and bake at 325 for 10 minutes.

Then take cool aid mix (not the big thing full of pix but the little twenty cent packages)
and leave the sticks in there for about 20 minutes until they dye in color.

Then dry and drill hole's in them and there you go!
:D

I don't like popsicle sticks - they splinter too easily.

I don't do much home-made anything, except scrapbooking. I'm a pay for convenience kind of person...although that's getting harder w/ this economy. I'm trying to better my sewing skills so maybe I can make some simple fleece items. I've made a ledge. And I've followed a recipe from this site and made some chinnie cookies.
