I introduced my new chinchilla to Bebe a couple days ago, everytime they are together they seem to be nibbling near each others faces and necks, I cant tell if its biting or grooming. So should i separate them when they do this?
Also the younger chin seems to be constantly peeping when i let Bebe near her but it isn't a bark, does this mean she is just scared or playful?

Both are good signs. They are just grooming each other and is important for bonding. The peeping is the contact call. Bebe is basically saying, " Hello, I'm little. Please don't hurt me. Let's be friends."

oh great, thanks ! :wink2: I was worried about the introduction but it seems to be all good. I have them together in their cage right now but they've never been together for more than about 10 minutes at a time before i separate them, would you say it is ok to keep them together now for good? Unless I see them fighting or anything obviously

If you are able to keep a close eye on them, leave them together. If you need to go somewhere, separate them and then put them back together when you get home.
