Hello! My name is Wynne (pronounced win) but I usually go by Winnie.
I live in Sammamish Washington with my boyfriend.
I work at Petco (oh no...evil...rawr...), in issaquah and i'm the Small Animal Specialist. And believe me not all Petsmarts and Petcos are evil. the one I work at stopped selling chinchillas or rabbits, and only sells dwarf hamsters and gerbils. (teddy bears and fancys get sick and stressed easily) We also raise a butt load of money for animal orginizations, and hold adoption events.
And no I don't give my chins alot of the crap they sell there. and I try to steer other chin owners away from it as well.
I have 2 chins, The first one is Gin, I adopted her from Petco becuase one day we found a little baby chin in the cage, and she was thought to be the father, so someone took the mom and the baby, and a bit later I adopted Gin becuase nobody wanted her. So we thought she was a boy for like 9 months untill we got our baby boy Momo in may from a breeder. She was showing us a good way to check the gender, so we went home and checked becuase we weren't positive (and Momo was like twice the size of Gin) and she turned out to be a girl, luckly I had an extra cage (we were gonna use anyway for the introductions) cuz the breeder had a no return policy.
So, yeah! I hope you don't think i'm a terrible person for working at a pet store. i'm very excited to meet some new people, and learn some new things. i'm not really new to the world of chinchillas but i'm still learning.
