Delilah's gets a new cage

Well sorta new, lol
I found this cage on CL for $35 but I offered $25 and he accepted plus he delivered it:thumbsup:

It is in good shape and I will be setting it up tomorrow for her, I need to go to Home Depot and have more shelves cut.

I still hope to get her an FN or Quality Cage someday but for now it will be more roomy than her current cage.

You can see her down in the corner looking at it...

i'd get at least a couple shelves that go across the whole cage, midway up. or stretch a hammock across. that way if she slips off a higher shelf, she won't be falling to the very bottom of the cage.

Great idea! I have a large hammock from Brittany, I will see if that is large enough to stretch. Other wise I be sure to cut a long shelf. Thanks!

I had that cage too and the only thing I didn't like was that the doors can be too easy to open. I advise getting some extra clips of some kind (I used binder clips) to make sure the doors stay closed. But for the price it's a great cage. I bet she'll enjoy the added room. Cant wait to see how yoou decorate it.

now that I look at it, I wonder If I could but Bugs in it and give "the crazy boys" and thrid lever on the FN theire in... right now Bugs has one lever of the FN and the 2 boys are in a second level... but I still have that cage and sicne Bugs is not a big chewer the plastic pan is not an issue for him. and I still have the liners and shelves I made of it... something to think about
