Cute fuzzy caterpillar

Well, we had a good oogle over it, looked like a little puppy dog crawling along the fence. Quite hairy, good for a laugh.

Finally found a reference to it, the flannel month is super cute and fuzzy, but the caterpillar is called a "puss moth caterpillar or asp" and is apparently one of the most toxic caterpillars in North America. Yikes!

I've learned not to touch things in this state, probably a good thing!
