Hi everyone, I'm pretty new here and I have a few questions.

I just got my chinchilla a critter cage from CL I saw the different model for the ferret nation and was wondering is there only one model for the critter cage? cuz i am having trouble with the beddings flying out too and I am trying to find a metal tray for the base of the first and 2nd floor.. i'm not sure where i should get it and what size i should get... are the sizes for the ferret nation and critter cage the same? I just want to make sure =) i'm located in BC Canada. if you know where I can get those metal tray to stop the bedding from flying out.. it would be great >< cuz its really messy.. around that area but love the cage xD Thanks !!

the metal trays that many members here use in their Critter Nations and Ferret Nations are Bass Pans. the company is in the States, so i don't know if shipping up to you would be too costly or not. here is the link to their site: http://www.bassequipment.com/Cages/Ferret+Pans/default.aspx

another option is to see if a local sheet metal company can make you a pan. this is what i am doing to keep costs down, and i have a friend that works in a place that does sheet metal type stuff. just be sure to have them 'roll' the edges of the pan, so there are no sharp edges for your chin to get hurt on.

ohh I see, actually I emailed a few of them got no reply from any local ones lol maybe they are buzy or my order is small for them >.<.. do you know about how much to ship from bass equipment? I want to order from them too I also found flower town chinchillas in canada but got no reply from them too >.< I really want to get one soon so i dont have to sweep it this often lol i have to do that every hr or so ><

i've never ordered from Bass, so i wouldn't know about the shipping.

every hour? hoo boy, i'd go insane. lol! fleece liners will make things much cleaner. you could have a corner litter pan for them to pee in if you want.

great =D Thanks a lot~ i am planning to get trays and use fleece.. but for using fleece, i never used it before for chinchillas. do I need to put two layers or do i only need one? what do I need to know about using fleece? sorry for asking these questions. I just want to make sure before i use it so my chins are happy ^_^~ Thanks
