I just started thinking about making my own stuff (small stuff) and I had a few questions.

When using PVC covered in fleece, do you attach the hanging hardware first, then wrap it fleece, or vice-versa?

Second, when using PVC how do you secure the fleece to the PVC?

Also do you use a double layer of fleece? (Sew two together, like you make the liners for the cages)

Also, how do you attach the fleece to the cage when using liners...do you use velcro?

1. when i made mine i wrapped it in fleece first then made holes through the fleece/pvc to run the bolts.

2. the fleece is secured to the pvc by running it through the inside then flipping it over to the outside on each end. if you use fender washers on either side of the pvc where the bolt runs through this will also help the fleece stay in place.

3. i used only a single layer of fleece for the tube

4. i just set the liner in the pan. i've seen some people say that they sew velcro on the fleece and stick the other side to the pan. your choice.

if you need more help making the tube fleece here is a good explanation from Sugarmama (a couple of posts down in the thread).
