Ugh, last night around 2:30 Am, Angel decided to start being noisy... i have no idea what set her off, but she was alternating between barking and squeeking for attention (according to the helpful sticky with links to chin noises). Do any of your chins bark to get your attention in the night for companionship???? it truly scared the crap outta me!

another question is about fleece liners for the CN cage. I bought a ton of fleece today, and am going to sew fleece liners and stop using the carefresh. i read an article that said that if they ingest the carefresh it wil expand in thier bellies and cause a blockage! so now im worried about that, and am planning on making my own liners and also a little hammock for her (since im all over spoiling her to make up for her less than ideal begnnings) any suggestions from those who have done this?? im hoping to post some pics of the finished product for all to see!!!

it is somewhat common especially in the beginning. I find leaving a radio or tv on for my boys cuts down on the "chatter".

as for fleece........i would use the search option at the top of the page, I know there are seveal threads with instructions for making lots of fleece items.

All of my chins purposely bark in the middle of the night, because they know that mommy will come running! ;) Like Mishellyshell, I find leaving a light on or some white noise in the background, helps keep the barking down a bit.

I heard my oldest male bark for the first time today! lol He just barked twice out of the blue and if I hadn't joined this forum and done research i would have thought something was really wrong haha.

My guys periodically bark in the night. They used to bark more but I got a small TV that is now located near their cage. Every night I turn it on to the Disney Channel (bright colors and music all throughout the night) and there is barely ever any more barking.

Gotta love Hannah Montana! :wink2:

Yeah....ewwww. Chula's favorite shows are Handy Manny and Hannah Montana. Every single time either is on he is intently watching. He's gotten to where he will be in position for Handy Manny about 5 min. before the show comes on. It's amazing how smart they are and how they take to a schedule.
