Just had a thought. If i bought a cocnut drillied two holes big enough for my chins to get in, took out the flesh, washed and baked it would it be a safe swing? How would you hand it? One chain or two?

You'd have to take out all of the meat, it's fatty and not good for chins. You could hang it with chain, I'd do at least 3 on the sides.
However most coconut halves aren't all that big, I don't know if a chin would hang out in one? Might work as a cute hay holder if you hung it above a shelf though.

Omg, that is adorable.
I thought about getting a coconut and using it as a hay holder. Someone on here made them and added things to them. I couldnt figure out where to get the coconuts at though, lol

it is adorable and can actually be used for hay, treats, food, or for a smaller chin to sit in.
I also have prepared my own but scraping out the flesh, boiling & baking at a low temp but it is difficult to get an even cut if you dont have the correct tools.

I got a coconut half from QMC I think, and I use it to hold hay cubes. Chloe already has a hay holder and she was digging out the hay to get to the cubes or vice versa and it was getting messy. I like it. Just drill a hole in the coconut and put in a bolt, a couple washers and a wing nut. Or put a chain on each side of it, like a swing and use it as a holder. Or you could just sit it in a corner of the cage or on a low shelf.
If you can find a coconut big enough for your chin, go for the swing idea. But if you can't find one big enough you could still use it as a swing/holder thing haha.
