Cleaning Critical Care out of Neck Fur?

Any good tips for cleaning Critical Care out of neck fur? Pipsqueak has some crusties from the last couple of days, and I would like to get them out without hurting him.

I use an unscented baby wipe to gently work the CC out of the fur. Dust baths take care of the rest usually.

You can also use 2 fingers and gently rub that area, then a dust bath.
