I'm planning to decorate my room for Christmas this year. I'm not planning on using any air fresheners or moving things for the chins' sake. I need to know, however, if this is just a bad idea in general. Would the string lights be annoying for the chins? Is there a serious risk of something like a piece of garland flying into the cage and being eaten?
Note: If I do decorate, I won't be using a live tree or anything like that. Just a tabeltop artificial tree.

i heard chins love christmas when i scanned the chin chats back in to the old posts

one said they like the colorful blinking lights and the happy chimey bell like songs
and when it came time to take everything down their chins threw poop and had a temper tantrum lol

As long as your not putting anything near enough the cage where it can be pulled threw the bars and chewed on I think it should be safe. Extra supervision during play time probably a good idea too.

Who knows if I'm projecting or not but my chins seem to love christmas. I have a snowglobe that has snow that blows around with music and when they hear it they all come to the front of the cage to see it. I bring it over there at least once a day! Haaha
