What do you guys do when you have to leave your chin for a week or so? Do you hire a chin sitter? Is there any recommendation? I have been going out of town only on weekend and have been asking favor from friends to watch over him. But Im planning on going to Thailand for a month in December and not sure if I want to bother my friend that long. Any idea?

There are such things as pet sitters, whether individuals or actual companies. I never hired one for my chins. I usually just had a friend or my parents watch them. Of course my friend wasn't too happy when she let them out to play and then couldn't get them back in the cage. Apparently she was chasing them around the room for 3 hours! Then when she finally gave up, my girl realized that she wasn't playing the "game" anymore and she got back in the cage on her own.

I sometimes chin sit but I will not do it in the summer time. I chin sat for the same person 4 times already. The 1st time was about 2 weeks.
