I have noticed my chins are up a lot during the day. I leave for work around 9:30 and they are still wide awake and raring to go, lol

When I come home at 6pm they are already up and playing. If I am home during the day and I go into the bedroom more often than not they are awake, so when the heck do the sleep?? lol

They are in my bedroom so it is dark after I go to bed, maybe they sleep more then?

Just curious as to what everyone elses chin sleeping habits are:)

Mine are very random. In the beginning, it was more like when no on is in the room. My chinnies are usually active around the evening when I am home. I think its because they can hear the door and know that eveyrone is coming home and assume play time is near by. lol But Ive seen them sleep anytime anyday whenever they are tired. Tum Tum I rarely see sleeping but I am sure he does. Bam Bam I see him laying on the side taking a snooze. They said nocturnal. But my chins are starting to react towards time I am away or when I am home from work. But I am sure they get sleep!! but im more happy they are active!! xD

For the first week FenFen was home it didn't seem like he was really sleeping a lot. I started getting worried that he wasn't sleeping enough, but since I put hammocks in his cage, I see him sleeping in them all the time. Mostly he sleeps during the day.

My chin is up periodically during the day, as well as the nighttime hours. If the house is quiet during the day, she tends to sleep a bit more. But the rowdier the house, the more likely she will be up.

All 5 of mine have pretty strick sleeping schudel. They get a treat when another comes home in the morning (night sfit) so they wait up for that. Once the get their treat theyll start to find down and go to sleep. Their alwyas asleep by the time i get up. Then wake up anywhere form 4-6pm usaly.

Of course they always wake up periodicly to go to the bathroom or grab a bit to eat or drink.

the only time period i see my boys snoozing consistently during the day is 11 am to 3-4 pm. other than that, they are usually awake when i come into the room. mind you, they are light sleepers, so unless i tiptoe in and the chin room door is already open, they are awake and staring at me. i would think they catch little naps during other hours, and during the night too, but i'm not in the chin room 24/7 to see (and they'd be awake much more if the human food dispenser was in their room all the time, lol).

Mine usually crash in the morning around 7AM. Then they get up to eat around 2PM then go back to sleep and get up around 7PM. What they do after 11PM when I go to sleep is a mystery. :) But I can usually hear them playing downstairs when I'm going to sleep and when I get up at 5:50AM.

Cant imagin what thats like lol. All 5 of mine are heavy sleepers. Just like me. Houdini (son) and Sophia (daughter) expecaly. You try to even touch them while their laying down/sleeping they will snap a bit. They do not like being disturbed while sleeping! :hair:

I occassionally catch mine sleeping but they are mostly up ready to play, lol I figure they must sleep sometimes.
