Hello :)
I am since 1 month ago a proud owner of two beautiful baby chins.
Now my chinchillas are 3 months old. I noticed that they have a "weird" way of playing. Or I think it's weird because I've never read about it. When they play, one chinchilla goes up on the other one, (like they're pairing) and after 3 seconds they run away really hard and it's clear they're playing. Both my chins are boys. Anyone else who recognises this?

It's just dominance mounting. They're establishing who's in charge, it's completely normal. If they start to get violent (pulling fur or biting) then you may need to separate them.
