Chins on an airplane?

About 6 years ago I flew in-cabin with two on a 6 hour flight (9 hours total). They did very well, back then it was only $50 each way, no restrictions.

Looked into it for next week, it is now $125, you can only take one in cabin, they're touchy as heck and any crew member can refuse you entry to the plane if they don't feel comfortable with your pet. Your best bet is to ship them as cargo. Downside to that is heat this time of year. There is a new airline dedicated to pets that just showed up, might want to look into them.

To move my herd I waited until the winter months and Ronda kindly shipped them to me via cargo. It was a 13 hour trip for them and everyone did very well.

I shipped 19 chins from Germany to Dallas/Ft. Worth four years ago, they all did very well, but I am glad we were right there to pick them up when they landed, it was June and they kept them in the hot Cargo hall.

Hi, I just wanted to add that they may be picky due to allergies. I once had a very bad asthma attack, due to a dog being on the plane. I would be scared of the heat to send a chin? Are the cargo holds air conditioned? I guess if its the only way to get the chins there, then its the only way!
