So I've pretty much made my room chin proof with wires being gone and nothing really out that he can destroy (although I BET he'll find something). My last worry right now is my bed. Should I block it off so he can't go under it? I feel like he might go under there to stop me from putting him back in his cage. What do you guys do with your bed if it's in your chin room?

I made the mistake when I got my first two chins letting them under the bed, they chewed the fabric under the box spring and got up inside the frame, what a pain to get them out.

I made a weighted dust ruffle that went down to the floor, so the couldn't get under the bed. I bought cheap non-fitted sheets at walmart, and sewed a tunnel around the edge that would touch the floor. Then I inserted 2" dowel rods so it would be weighted down.I just tucked the sheet between the mattress and boxspring so that it extended to the floor. The chins weren't able to lift or burrow under the dowel rods, but one sure did try. I made the mistake of letting her under the bed once before I blocked the area, so she was frustrated that she couldn't get back to her favorite hiding spot. She's a stubborn little thing ;-)
