chins and rabbits (not together!)

Hello,

Just a quick question! Can a chinchilla cage be placed near a rabbit pen? I have my bunnies in a C&C cage and wanted to place my chinchilla cage on a stand a few feet away. I know rabbits carry bacteria that infects guinea pigs so just wanted to check if it was the same for a chinchilla?

Buns can pass disease to chinchillas, keep the cage away from the chins so any body fluids or solids can't reach the chins and wash hands between species.

Thank you, ticklechin. I figured this was a strong possibility so I placed my chin's cage in another room, away from the bunnies. I appreciate your help!
