Hello! I have a quick question.
I've just read that apparently you shouldn't house chinchillas and rabbits in the same room with each other, because the rabbit might carry a disease that's fatal to chins? I was just wondering how true this was. I've been housing my rabbit and two chins in the same room for several months, ever since I got the first chin, (separate cages, there's never been any possibility of contact between them, they're never out at the same time), and both chins have been fine. I was just wondering if I need to be concerned? I'd hate for either of them to get sick, but I don't want to have to put any of them through moving rooms if I don't have to. They're all pretty content where they are. So, any advice on the matter would be really great. Thanks in advance!
