Chins and hiccups?

I was wondering if chins can have hiccups. I was feeding and finishing cleaning cages today. I heard this noise coming from one of the cages. I found Ashlye lying in her tube sound a sleep and I believe hiccuping. Her head would move everytime she made this sound and go back to sleep.

They have a warning call that sounds kind of like hiccups and is high pitched. Was it a short burst of 3-4 hiccup-like sounds then stopped, then started again?

I have had chin with hiccups - not often. They annoy the heck out of them just like people

Yes, she would stop and start again while sleeping.

Sounds like she was having a chinchilla nightmare, Dante used to get them and would have to be poked to wake up, his noises and twitching would freak me out.

I watched the video it didn't sound like that. I never knew there was something called that. I would have to agree with ticklechin that she was having a nightmare.
