Chinchilla's eye?!?!

Hi I've noticed that my chinchilla has watery eyes and it seems like he has either eye boogers or discharge which is freaking me out. Does this mean he has an infection?!?!?

It could be. Best to take him to a chin knowledgeable vet for a diagnosis. Depending on if it is just an infection or if there is a scratch on the cornea, the vet will be able to prescribe the correct medications to treat it.
