Chinchilla sounds and meanings?

I've looked around and I can't find anything that sounds quite like what one of my girls is doing.

Essentially it sounds kind of like the Joker's laugh...
Usually it seems to happen when they're in the playpen, often when they're out of sight.

I'm hoping it's a content or playful noise, but it was quite a surprise the first time!

Yeah, I listened to all of those, the closest are the 'contact and communication' sounds, but it's really more like a 'hee hee hee hee' sort of laugh/maniacal giggle...

Your chinchilla is calling to the herd. Mine all do it. Tunny thing is, I call it the Joker laugh, too. That's ow I know what you are talking about.
