Chinchilla lethargy

Hi all,

My female chinchilla has been lethargic for the past 2 days. She still runs about when we let her out. But not as curious as before. And she have not been eating much except for a little hay and drinking only a little water. (she eat anything that is not her food) Her poops are soft too. I'm bringing her to the vet tml as they are closed today.

Any advice on what to do for her today?

If she isn't eating you need to hand feed her through a syringe. Mostly it would be critical care, if you can't get any than water down the pellets. But your chin needs to see a doc asap. The hand feeding will only help with keeping her gi going.
