Chinchilla Hair Ring?

I have noticed that my chinchilla hasn't peed in about 3-4 days but all his other habits like eating drinking and exercise are normal and seem unaffected. It is just that he hasn't peed in a while and I'm beginning to worry because he might have a hair ring and because I got him fairly recently, it is difficult to check for a hair ring. Am I overreacting or could he actually have a hair ring?

I've had to take ZZ to the vet in the past to have them help me hold him for a hair ring check. They had never done one before, so it was helpful for all of us.

Thank you I did a hair ring check with two people and found he had no hair ring. My guess is that he's been peeing in places that I can't see!!

Line the cage with paper towels so you can see if he really is peeing. If not, get him to a vet ASAP.
