Chinchilla bald spot

Im new here, so im not sure if this is the place to ask. My Chinchilla Jonathan has a small bald spot on the side of his nose. The skin looks fine, but im not sure what to do. Should i bring him to the vet, or is it something i shouldn't be worried about?

Edit: Is it new? Has he always had it? Need a bit more info
