chinchilla ate hay with pee

I left for vacation for about a week and i asked my neighbors to feed my chinchilla while i was gone. When i came back i noticed my chinchilla's fur has a greenish stain just below her mouth. my neighbor told me he didn't clean out the old hay and it was scattered all over the cage. so my chinchilla ate hay that pee peed on. how can i removed the stain from her fur? also, should i take her to the vet since she ate urine?

Eating the pee soaked hay won't hurt her. One of my boys loves fresh soaked wood chips, and will wait outside the litter pan for his cagemate to finish his business, and then goes to town. (He doesn't really eat them, but chews on them.) Gross, but not harmful.
You can use a damp cloth to wipe her chin off, and give her an extra dust bath. She should get the stains off herself.
