sorry i havent been on in a while i have been so busy but my chins have bee doing very well they will let me take them out and
pet them and feed them hay freely. i just wanted to know if there is anything wrong with this diet

Kaytee fiesta food
hay every 2 days
raisins every once in a while
dandelions treat sticks

get rid of the kaytee fiesta food, the raisins and the dandelion treat sticks. The raisins and dandelion treat sticks contain sugar which the chins can't process. The kaytee fiesta food should be replaced with mazuri, oxbow, or another high quality pellet. (I'm drawing a blank on the other brands...) Personally, I have hay every day available, as well as chew sticks.

kaytee food is crap. cold switch them to a quality food like oxbow or mazuri - both are available at petsmart.

hay should be free fed, in the cage at all times. they need to eat hay to help wear down their teeth properly, and the fiber in hay needs to be a large part of their diet.

no raisins. natural sugars in raisins and other fruits and veggies are not good for their 'hind gut' digestive systems. it can cause bloat and other problems.

no dandelion treats. pretty much any treat sold in pet stores is unhealthy for chins. next time you are in the store, read the ingredients on some of the treats - sugar is right at the top! much better treats are rosehips, plain shredded wheat, or even just an apple wood stick to chew on.
